The Canon PIXMA iP 2600 photo printer is a perfect home companion that delivers amazing photographs.  With Canon’s “FINE” technology the print head will eject consistent, precise ink droplets as small as 2 picoliters, producing long-lasting, stunningly crisp photos with borderless edges, from credit- card size, up to 8.5″ x 11″, and with resolution up to 4800 x 1200 color dpi.  A standard 4 x 6 photograph will print fairly quick, taking about 55 seconds per sheet with full resolution on. 

The printer also uses high-intensity ChromaLife 100 color inks for vivid, authentic photos and graphics.  Additionally, the special pigment black ink delivers laser precision to your documents and photos. The black ink is also highly resistant to smudging, allowing you to handle to documents right after printing. 

To help lower operating costs, cheap ink is available in remanufactured high yield cartridges.  The Remanufactured Canon Ink Cartridges 6 combo pack is the best value being offered with 4 black PG 40 cartridges and 2 color CL 41 cartridges. For individual purchase and still a cheaper option, you can get the Remanufactured Canon CL 41 High-Yield color ink cartridge and the Remanufactured Canon PG 40 High-Yield black ink cartridge.  Additionally, you can purchase InkTec black refill kits for the for the Canon PG 40 and PG 50 in two 20 ml bottles and InkTec color refill kits for the Canon CL 41 and CL 51, which comes with three 20 ml ink bottles. The original cartridges are also available for individual sale. There are two cartridges, the Genuine Canon CL 41 High-Yield color ink cartridge and the Genuine Canon PG 40 High-Yield black ink cartridge.  And to achieve a professional look for photographs use 4 x 6 photo glossy Inkjet Paper, which is also water resistant.
