The Dell 924 is a durable all-in-one printer ideal for the home or home office.  With the ability to print, scan, copy, and fax this device will be able accommodate all your printing needs.   It can scan documents in 1200 dpi with 48-bit color depth, so you’ll be able to keep the clarity and quality.  The machine can also print high quality photographs with 4800 x 1200 resolution and the Dell 924 ink cartridge System gives laser like detail.

The setup is fairly standard and easy to set up using a USB 2.0 connection, with a fully automated installation program. As a Photo all-in-one printer, you can install either the black and tricolor cartridge that it ships with for four-color printing using cyan, yellow, magenta, and black, or replace the black with a photo cartridge for six-color printing, adding light cyan and light magenta for better-looking photos and graphics. And with monochrome ink cartridges, text and graphics will always come out crisp and clear.

To help lower operating costs, cheap ink is available in Remanufactured cartridges.  The Remanufactured Dell Inkjet 6 combo pack is the best value being offered with 4 black cartridges and 2 color cartridges replacing the M4646, M4640, T5482, T5480, R5974, and theR5956. For individual purchase and still a cheaper option, you can get the Remanufactured High-Yield color ink cartridge replacing the M4646 and R5974 or the Remanufactured Dell High-Yield black ink cartridge replacing the M4640 and R5956.  Also available is the Remanufactured color photo inkjet cartridge replacing the Dell J4844 and the U5553. Additionally, you can purchase InkTec black refill kits for the for the Dell J5556 and M4640 in two 20 ml bottles and InkTec color refill kits for the Dell J5567 and M4646, which comes with three 25 ml ink bottles. And to achieve a professional look for photographs use 4 x 6 photo glossy Inkjet Paper, which is also water resistant.
