The Pitney Bowes DM1000 mailing system is a printer specifically designed for addressing and printing onto envelopes. This versatile mailing system can automatically feed, seal, imprint postage and stack uniform mail at speeds of up to 295 letters per minute. This unique machine allows you to print perfect laser text quality postage on every envelope before you send it out. It also has Account tracking for up to 300 accounts standard and expansion options up to 1,500 accounts. Being a specialized mailing system, the DM 1000 has an Electronic interfaced scale which weighs letters, parcels, and flats up to 16 oz., then automatically sets the exact postage required. Pitney Bowes uses fluorescent ink cartridges which are fairly resistant smudging once dried.
The Pitney Bowes DM1000 ink cartridges are very easy to set up and to replace. Each cartridge will yield approximately 52,500 impressions. This unique mailing system was engineered with a flatbed scanner that can handle large envelopes up to 13 x 15 inches. It will also process envelopes with up to 3/4 inch thickness. The Pitney Bowes allows users to preset up to 25 routine jobs for quick handling and greater productivity. And to keep up to date the machine features the IntelliLink® Command Center for postage downloads, software and rate updates.
