Canon BJ 100 Review

Canon BubbleJet 100 Printer

Canon BubbleJet 100 Printer

The Canon Bubblejet 100 is an affordable and compact printer ideal for the home or sole proprietor.  This machine can produce respectable graphics, images, and texts with resolutions up to 360 x 360 dpi.  The compact and sleek design will enable users to easily fit this printer onto their desktop or work area.  The BJ 100 printer also contains 2 easily replaceable Canon ink cartridges that will automatically realign when changed.  Also, users can exchange their ordinary color cartridge out for a Photo ink cartridge which can highlight tones and bring extra vibrancy to images.  Being an earlier model printer, this device features a Parallel interface for set-up and connectivity to computers.

The Canon BJ 100 ink cartridges will eject Thermal Monochrome inkjets for printouts that are more resistant to water and smudging. Additionally, the BJ 100 will be able to print directly onto a wide range of specialty papers including envelopes, glossy photo paper, cardstock, and even T-Shirt transfers.  This printer will be able to printout up to 4 pages per minute for black and white documents and up to 0.6 pages per minute for color projects (which comes out to around 100 seconds per print). It also contains a 50 sheet Input Tray which is extremely easy to fill.  To fill the Input Tray, simply slide up to 50 sheets on the bottom tray.  This also helps when trying to print onto specialty paper because you can actually see the paper that is about to be printed onto.

And to help save money on operating costs, cheap Canon ink cartridges are available in Remanufactured form.  For individual purchase you can get the Remanufactured Canon BC02 / BC01 Black ink cartridge for individual purchase.  Each Remanufactured ink cartridge will meet or exceed the Original Equipment Manufactured cartridges, yielding up to 450 pages.  Also available are the OEM cartridges in the Genuine Canon BC02 Black ink cartridge.
