The Canon PIXMA iP 6600D is a powerhouse amongst home printers, prefect for the photographing connoisseur.  Having “FINE” technology and a next-generation 3,072-print head that ejects the smallest most precise ink droplets in 9600 x 2400 maximum color dpi, giving your photos and graphics a professional smooth look.  Having a large 3.5 inch widescreen color LCD display makes editing and enhancing images easy.  Perhaps the absolute best feature of the printer is having an auto-duplexing machine enabling you to easily print double sided pages.

The PIXMA iP 6600D also uses high-intensity ChromaLife 100 color inks for vivid, authentic, quality photos and graphics.  Additionally, the special pigment black ink delivers laser precision to your documents and photos. The black ink is also highly resistant to smudging, allowing you to handle to documents right after printing. The printer also has LED ink lights to indicate when the printer is running low on ink.  This device can even print from your Apple® or Android™ mobile device with a downloadable app. 

To help lower operating costs, cheap ink is available in compatible inkjet cartridges.  For individual purchase you can get the Compatible Canon CLI 8BK (black), CLI 8C (Cyan), CLI 8M (magenta), and the CLI 8Y (yellow) Inkjet cartridge. To enhance color and to bring images to life you can also get the Compatible Canon CLI 8PC (Cyan) photo ink cartridge and the Compatible Canon CLI 8PM (magenta) photo ink cartridge.  The original cartridges are also available for individual sale.  The Genuine Canon CLI 8 series cartridges come in the same colors and they also offer the CLI 8PC (cyan) and CLI 8PM (magenta) photo ink cartridges.  And to achieve to professional look for photos use 4 x 6 photo glossy Inkjet Paper, which is also water resistant.
