Pitney Bowes DM800 Mailing System Printer

The Pitney Bowes DM800 mailing system is a printer specifically designed for addressing, weighing, and printing onto envelopes. This versatile mailing system can automatically feed, seal, imprint postage and stack uniform mail at speeds of up to 200 letters per minute.  The unique machine allows you to print perfect laser text quality postage on every envelope before you send it out. In addition, the mailing system uses Pitney Bowes’ patented Weigh on the Way technology, enabling the machine to process letters and packages of varying sizes and weights in one operation to help save time.  The printer uses fluorescent Pitney Bowes ink cartridges which are fairly resistant smudging once dried.

The Pitney Bowes DM800 ink cartridges are very easy to set up and to replace.  Each cartridge will yield approximately 52,500 impressions.  This unique mailing system was engineered with a flatbed scanner that can handle large envelopes up to 13 x 13 inches. It will also process envelopes with up to 5/8 inch thickness. Being a specialized mailing system, the DM 800 has an Electronic interfaced scale which weighs letters, parcels, and flats up to 16 oz., then automatically sets the exact postage required.  And to keep up to date the machine features the IntelliLink® Command Center for postage downloads, software and rate updates.  In addition, the mailing system has an Integrated Weighing System measuring up to 75 lbs.

To help lower operating costs, cheap ink is available in Compatible cartridges.  For individual purchase you can get the Compatible Pitney Bowes 766-8 Red Fluorescent ink cartridge.
